Asian Games 2022: Complete Schedule Of The Indonesian Men's Volleyball National Team

JAKARTA - The Indonesian men's volleyball team will fight at the Hangzhou 2023 Asian Games. The following is the complete schedule for the Indonesian team's matches in the four-yearly event.

This year's Asian Games actually took place last year. However, the problem of the COVID-19 pandemic has made the organizing committee postpone it until this year.

In men's volleyball, a total of 19 countries participated and were divided into six pools. The majority of the pools are filled by three teams each, except in pool 4 which must be occupied by four teams.

Indonesia fills the pool with four teams together with the Philippines, Japan, and Afghanistan. On paper, Japan is the most troublesome opponent for Indonesia.

The preliminary stage of the men's volleyball group for the 2023 Asian Games will start on Tuesday to Thursday, September 19-21, 2023.

In the first match of Group F, Indonesia will face the Philippines. The clash between the two teams will take place at the Deqing Sports Center Gymnasium, Tuesday, September 19 at 19:00 local time or 18.00 WIB.

Indonesia's most challenging match was against Japan in the second match, Wednesday, September 20 at 18.00 WIB. The reason is, Japan is a very superior Asian volleyball champion.

Indonesia kemudian memainkan laga terakhir melawan Afghanistan, Kamis, 21 September. Pertandingan ini dimulai pada pukul 13.30 WIB.
