The U-17 Indonesian National Team Will Be A Mini Tournament In Germany, The Opponent Is Not A Careless Team

JAKARTA - The U-17 Indonesian national team will undergo a training camp (TC) in Germany. On this agenda, the Garuda Nusantara squad will conduct several test parties.

Bima Sakti coach said the U-17 national team was scheduled to participate in a mini tournament. One of them is competing against the German U-17 national team.

"In Germany, we will hold several trials. Later, according to the direction of Mr. Ketum (PSSI) Erick Thohir, there will be a mini tournament there after the U-17 World Cup drawing," said Bima Sakti after leading the training at Field A of the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium complex, Jakarta, Saturday.

Bima Sakti said the mini tournament will also not rule out the possibility for the Garuda Muda team to try out Bundesliga academy teams such as Borussia Dortmund or Frankfurt.

"There we can fight against the Bundesliga team. The possibility of being able to fight Borussia Dortmund, Frankfurt, or another U-17 academy team. So it has not been confirmed. But surely we will make a mini tournament," he said, as reported by Antara.

The U-17 Indonesian national team will bring 26 to 28 players to conduct training camp (TC) in Germany.

"So later there will be fewer players who will be dispatched to the training camp (TC) in Germany. It could be 26 players or 28 players," said Bima Sakti.

Before leaving for Germany, the U-17 national team plans to face a test match against South Korea. After that, the players will be closed first before leaving for the training camp in Germany.

"After the 30th, we will rest the players first, because the players have been doing TC for almost two months. We think the players need to refresh, also need to meet their parents and family before leaving later in September to Germany," said Bima Sakti.

The U-17 Indonesian national team is scheduled to undergo a trial match against the U-17 South Korean national team at Patriot Candrabhaga Stadium, Bekasi, Wednesday at 19.00 WIB.
