Leak! Here Are 26 Names Of Players Who Will Be Called By The U-23 Indonesian National Team For The TC Of The AFF Cup

JAKARTA - List of 26 players who will strengthen the U-23 national team in the training camp (TC) agenda was spread on PSSI social media. However, not long after, the composition of players ahead of the 2023 AFF U-23 Cup in Thailand was removed.

On Monday, August 7, PSSI had shared the line-up for the August 17-26 agenda. The list shows a combination of players who had defended the Garuda Muda squad during the 2023 SEA Games and several names that had just been called.

From the upload, it can be seen that two naturalized players, Ivar Jenner and Rafael Struick, are on the list. If true, both of them will make their debuts with the U-23 Indonesian national team after trying out the FIFA Matchday agenda in June 2023.

The players who also presented the 2023 SEA Games gold medals such as Witan Sulaeman, Ramadhan Sananta, Fajar Fathur Rachman, Rizky Ridho, and Beckham Saputra were also seen in the squad.

At the goalkeeper post, the U-23 Indonesian national team coach summoned three goalkeepers, namely Daffa Fasya, Ernando Ari, and Muhammad Adisatryo.

For the back line, the leak shows that there are eight names called Shin Tae-yong, they are Bagas Kaffa, Kadek Arel, Komang Teguh, Haykal Alhafiz, Muhammad Ferarri, Rizky Ridho, Frengky Missa, to Alfeandra Dewangga.

While on the front lines, six players are trusted by STY. They are Muhammad Ragil, Salim Akbar, Irfan Jauhari, Ramadhan Sananta, and Rafael Struick.

Nine players were then projected to fill the midfield consisting of Arkhan Fikri, Muhammad Taufany, Fajar Fathur Rachman, Beckham Putra, Robi Darwis, Muhammad Kanu, Esal Sahrul Muhrom, Abdul Rahman, and Ivar Jenner.

The line-up that was uploaded was a squad that was prepared to appear in the U-23 national team. Where Indonesia will appear in the AFF U-23 Cup in Group B with Malaysia and Timor Leste.
