Contract At Parma Is Still Long, Gianluigi Buffon Has Intend To Retire At The Age Of 45

JAKARTA - The legendary Italian goalkeeper, Gianluigi Buffon, is reportedly going to terminate his contract with Parma. Buffon will also retire at the age of 45.

Initially, Buffon planned to continue to appear until the upcoming 2026 World Cup. He also intends to complete the contract with Parma which will only expire in June 2024.

However, all future plans must be reviewed and reconsidered following a number of injuries. Buffon's agent is said to be meeting with representatives of Parma in the next few days to discuss terminating his client's contract.

After officially hanging up his boots as a goalkeeper, Buffon's life will not be far from the world that made his name.

Because he had received an offer to occupy the position of Chief of Delegation of the Italian national team, which was previously occupied by the late Gianluca Vialli, as reported by the Daily Mail on August 2.
