Australian Open 2023: Hendra/Ahsan Escape Without Competing, Fajar/Rian Get Rid Of The Host's Representative

JAKARTA Indonesian men's doubles, Hendra Setiawan/Mohammad Ahsan, qualified for the second round of the 2023 Australian Open without sweating.

Meanwhile, another men's doubles, Sabar Karyaman Gutama/Muhammad Reza Pahlevi Isfahani had to go home early from the tournament. They gave up 19-21, 16-21 from Akira Koga/Taichi Saito from Japan in a 39-minute match.

"Earlier we were able to catch up to 19-19. Our pattern of play was actually good and could follow, but after that we were in a hurry. Unfortunately our first game was less calm. On the other hand, the opponent was calmer," said Reza.
