Arema's Last Slot Filled With Philippines Goalkeeper At Fulham Junior Team

The Arema FC foreign player slot is finally complete. The last quota was filled with players from ASEAN, namely goalkeeper from the Philippines, Julian Schwarzer Garcia.

Prior to joining Arema FC, Julian Schwarzer Garcia strengthened the club in the Malaysian League, Kuching City. In addition, the player has also defended Fulham FC U-18 and U-21 in England.

Julian Schwarzer completes the composition of Arema FC foreign players previously filled with Diara Ichaka, Charles Lokolingoy, Charles Raphael, Ariel happenedro and Gustavo Almeida.

The entry of Julian Schwarzer Garcia also adds to the competition in Arema FC goalkeeper positions. Previously, the team nicknamed Teguh Amiruddin, Adixi Lenzivio and Dicky Agung Setiawan.

"The FC theme has officially signed Julian Schwarzer Garcia, a goalkeeper from the Philippines, hopefully he will be able to lift Arema FC's achievements in the future," said Arema FC team manager, Wiebie Dwi Andriyas, as reported by Antara.

Wiebie explained, this is proof that Arema FC is serious about pursuing achievements in the 2023/2024 Liga 1 season competition which only rolled out in early July 2023.

According to him, the performance of the Arema FC squad at the beginning of the season is currently a special concern for management. Arema FC has lost twice and drawn one from three matches that have been played this season.

"Of course, at the beginning of this season it became our special concern in management. This is also proof and effort that Arema FC is serious about achieving in competitions," he said.

Julian Schwarzer Garcia is currently in Bali with the Arema FC team. Most likely, the Philippines national team goalkeeper will step down against Bali United at the Captain I Wayan Dipta Stadium on Friday, July 21.
