JAKARTA - Racer Maserati MSG Racing, Maximilian Gunther successfully showed his dominance when he appeared in the 2023 Formula E race in Jakarta. Gunther managed to climb the first podium in the 11th series after performing well in free practice (FP) and qualification. The German racer managed to record the fastest time of 1 minute 7.753 seconds in the second race which took place at the Jakarta International e-Prix Circuit, Sunday, June 4 afternoon WIB. Gunther outperforms Jack Dennis and Mitch Evans who have to finish in second and third positions. Dennis made a time difference of 2.887 seconds from Gunther, while Evans made a time difference of 18.300 seconds from Gunther. This victory in Jakarta is Gunther's first record to feel the first podium. This success is proof that Maximilian Gunther is able to prove his dominance. Gunther dominates all agendas that take place on Sunday, June 4. Since the FP 3 which was held in the morning, Gunther has been recorded as the fastest with a time of 44.57 seconds. This result led him to qualify for the qualifying round which was held during the day. Had a duel with Eduardo Mortara, Gunther finally managed to become the fastest with a record time of 1 minute 8.101 seconds to win pole position in race 2. Gunther's record as the fastest in the 11th series of Formula E is a valuable moment. Because this is Gunther's first time taking the podium one under Maserati's manufacturer.

“ I am very happy and proud in this series because all the results are good. It (the results) pushed me to keep driving and now I'm here (first sodium),” said Maximilian Guenther after the race.
