JAKARTA - Tyson Fury has been compared to heavyweight legends in the past for agreeing to fight Oleksandr Usyk. Promoter Frank Warren confirms deals are nearing completion to secure the division's first four-belts fight on April 29 at Wembley.

Warren told talkSPORT that everyone, especially, wanted to see the fight. He said everyone had to take their hats off to Tyson Fury.

"Because he is the only heavyweight since the glory days of Muhammad Ali, George Foreman, and Joe Frazier who has fought the best of the generation he has entered," Warren said.

"He fought Wladimir Klitschko, the best of his generation, went to his backyard, and beat him," the promoter continued.

Warren said, everyone, has to take their hats off to Fury because he is even more powerful than Lennox Lewis. The reason is, Lewis never faced all the great boxers in his prime.

"We talk about Lennox Lewis, but he never fought Riddick Bowe, never fought Mike Tyson until he was past his best," Warren said.

"I'm not taking anything from Lennox, he's a great fighter. But Tyson has fought all these guys to the best of their ability," he continued.

Fury and Usyk are now lining up for big paychecks in a phenomenal fight. Warren has revealed the fight will be announced subject to a signed contract as talks continue behind the scenes.

Despite being late to the promotion and preparing for the fight, the promoter said April 29 was still the day of the planned judgment.

"That would be the date for the fight. At one stage I wasn't sure if Tyson would be up for it, but he's doing fine," Warren explained.

"The bottom line is they both came out and said what they wanted to do and obviously we had to sign contracts. Everyone is working on it to get things done."
