Inzaghi is Satisfied For Bringing Inter to Beat AC Milan in the Derby Della Madonnina Twice in 20 Days

JAKARTA - Inter Milan has become the ruler of the city of Milan after winning the Derby della Madonnina match, Monday, February 6, in the morning of Western Indonesian Time (WIB). In the Italian Serie A follow-up match which took place at the Giuseppe Meazza, I Nerazzurri narrowly won 1-0.

This is Inter's second victory over Milan in 2023. Previously, Nicolo Barella and friends won 3-0 over I Rossoneri in the Italian Super Cup which was played in Saudi Arabia, last month.

In this match, Lautaro Martinez's only goal was enough to secure Inter's victory. An additional three points keeps I Nerazzurri attached to Napoli.

"I am very satisfied, I praise this team because they are perfect. I don't remember us winning the derby and dominating in this way," said Inter coach Simone Inzaghi.

"We had a great derby, winning twice in 20 days I don't think it always happens. We don't look forward or backward in the standings, but only focus on us," he continued.

Inter are now sitting in second place in the standings with a collection of 43 points. They have a distance of 13 points from leaders Napoli.

Meanwhile, Milan has not been able to move from sixth place with 38 points, according to the official website of the Italian League reported by Antara.
