Indonesia U-20 Beat Antalyaspor U-18 With A Score 3-2, Shin Tae-Yong Still Has A Lot Of Homework

JAKARTA - The Indonesian U-20 team defeated Antalyaspor U-18 with a score of 3-2 in a test match, Tuesday, November 8. The Garuda Nusantara squad was left behind before turning things around.

Indonesia's goals were scored by Marselino Ferdinand in the 47th and 63rd minutes. While another goal was presented by Ronaldo Kwateh in the 89th minute.

Indonesia U-20 coach, Shin Tae-Yong praised his team's performance. However, he still sees there are shortcomings that must be corrected.

"All the players have worked hard. However, we have to improve the quality of our touch on the ball," Shin said after the match, as reported by Antara.

He also said his players were still afraid to see the posture of players from Europe who was taller and bigger than them. Shin saw that Muhammad Ferrari and his friends were already scared before the match.

According to the South Korean coach, this fear makes it difficult for his players to compete on the field. It became an evaluation for Shin.

He wants his players to have a strong physiques so that they don't fall down easily when competing. "We have to fix it, but it can't be instant. It has to be step by step," said Shin.

The success of fending off Antalyaspor with a score of 3-2 became Indonesia's third victory out of five test matches that had been undertaken while in Turkey. Previously, Garuda Nusantara defeated Cakallikli Spor with a score of 2-1 and Moldova with a score of 3-1.

The only defeat occurred against hosts Turkey with a score of 1-2.
