Still Believing In Julian Nagelsmann, Bayern Munich Denies Rumors Regarding Thomas Tuchel

JAKARTA - Bayern Munich CEO Oliver Kahn has denied rumors linking them with Thomas Tuchel to replace Julian Nagelsmann in the coaching chair.

The German giants started this season with a not-so-satisfying result in the German Bundesliga. They have won only three times and have got three draws and one defeat.

The result led some German media to report that Nagelsmann was in an insecure position and Tuchel was a potential replacement. However, the information was denied by Kahn.

"Right now we are not dealing with other coaches. We are very confident in Julian [Nagelsmann]," Kahn said as quoted by Sky Sports Germany.

A bad start has made Die Roten currently five points adrift of Union Berlin, who are at the top of the standings with a collection of 17 points from the same number of matches.

The most unsatisfactory result was obtained by Bayern in their last match at the weekend when they visited Augsburg headquarters. They came home from the match without a point after being beaten by a single goal by Mergim Berisha.

"Of course, we were all dissatisfied, in a bad mood. We had to sort things out," Kahn said.

Bayern will next face Leverkusen on Saturday, October 1 at the Allianz Arena. Currently, Leverkusen is also falling so it still fills the 15th place in the standings.

"And I assume that as soon as the game starts again against (Bayer) Leverkusen, we will and must attack fully," said Kahn.

Die Roten actually performed well in Europe despite getting unsatisfactory results in the Bundesliga. In the European Champions League, they have always won from two group stage matches that have been held.
