Match Schedule For The Red And White Representatives In The Quarter-Finals Of The 2022 BWF World Championships: The Road To Men's Singles Is Steep, Doubles Have Great Opportunities

JAKARTA - Four Indonesian representatives stepped into the quarter-finals of the 2022 BWF World Championship which will be held on Friday, August 26.

Two representatives went down in the men's singles number, namely Anthony Sinisuka Ginting and Jonatan Christie. Both met tough opponents in the last eight.

Jonathan Christie will face Taiwan's seed, Chou Tien Chen. The meeting record is owned by Jojo with a score of 6-3.

However, in the last two meetings, the Red and White men's singles lost, namely the Indonesia Open and the All England.

Meanwhile, Anthony Sinisuka Ginting met Viktor Axelsen again. In the meeting record, Ginting lost by 4-9.

Ginting's last victory over Axelsen was achieved at the Indonesia Masters 2020. He won 22-20 and 21-11.

Meanwhile, two other Indonesian representatives will participate in the men's doubles sector. Unlike singles players, the two Red and White doubles met relatively easy opponents.

Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto faced Ben Lane/Sean Vendy (England). Meanwhile, Hendra Setiawan/Mohammad Ahsan served the Indian couple, MR Arjun/Dhruv Kapila.
