In Order To Defend The WBC Title, Daud Jordan Trains For 60 Rounds!

JAKARTA - The proud Indonesian boxer, Daud Jordan, will fight to defend his WBC Asian Boxing Council Silver title in the super light division (63.5kg). He will face Thai boxer Panya Uthok at Balai Sarbini, Jakarta, on July 1.

This is a postponed party after the planned match at the World Siam Stadium, Bangkapi, Bangkok, Thailand, on March 4. The match had to be rescheduled after two days before the match Daud tested positive for COVID-19 on arrival in Thailand.

For Daud, this is the 46th match in his professional career. Daud currently still holds the IBA super lightweight title and has bagged 41 victories.

He also has the IBO featherweight (57.1kg) and lightweight (61.2kg) world championship belts.

President Director of MPRO International Gustiantira Alandy also said that this event will also present the WBC Asian Boxing Council Continental featherweight belt holder (57.1 kg).

Ongen Saknosiwi will face Jirawat Thammachot. In addition, there was also an undercard match between Silem Serang versus Frengky Rohi, Egi Rozten against Satria Sandika, and Julio Bria against Georgy Lumoly.
