Karim Benzema Actually Wants To Play Alongside Kylian Mbappe At Real Madrid: I Want Him To Make His Dreams Come True

JAKARTA - Real Madrid player, Karim Benzema, still regrets Kylian Mbappe's decision to choose to stay at Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). Benzema said he wanted Mbappe to realize his ambition of playing at Real Madrid together.

However, he still respects the decisions of his compatriots. Now, Benzema wants to play together with Mbappe in the French national team in the Nations League.

"I want him to be able to fulfill his dream of playing for Real Madrid, together. He chose PSG, you have to respect (his decision)," Benzema told Telefoot, as quoted by Livescore.

"He is still young and has a lot of responsibilities. It was his choice, he is a PSG player, so we will enjoy playing time together in the national team," he continued.

Benzema admitted that he was actually not disappointed, he was actually happy with his junior's decision. The former Olympique Lyon player then hopes that Mbappe will do great things with PSG and the French national team.

"We are good friends, it will not affect our relationship," he said.

As is known, Mbappe finally decided to stay at PSG despite several tempting offers from Real Madrid.

The 23-year-old player signed a new contract until 2025. However, Kylian Mbappe admits that his desire to play for Real Madrid has never been extinguished.
