Ahead Of The Indonesian MotoGP: Having An "Insider", Moto2 Racer Sam Lowes Is Confident That He Can Talk A Lot At The Mandalika Circuit

JAKARTA - Marc VDS Honda racer, Sam Lowes, admitted that he had received a leak on how to beat the Mandalika Circuit, the venue for the MotoGP race in Indonesia. He couldn't wait to race there.

Lowes said he got the information from his twin brother, Alex Lowes, who had already tasted the race at the Mandalika Circuit. Alex races at Mandalika in November 2021 in the Superbike event.

"I spoke with my brother to get some tips on the track and what it's like there. He said this circuit is very beautiful and enjoyable to use for racing," said Sam Lowes, as quoted by Crash.

The British racer admitted that he was very enthusiastic ahead of the race at the Mandalika Circuit. Apart from being a new circuit, he also said that Indonesia has an extraordinary racing lover.

"I've been to Indonesia before for sponsorship activities early in my Moto2 career and the passion the fans have for this sport is incredible," he said.

"When you get that kind of support and know people love the sport, it gives you even more motivation to be there and give your best."

The Mandalika MotoGP race will be held on March 18-20. This will be the first grand prix race in Indonesia after 25 years.

The enthusiasm of the audience can be seen from the ticket sales. Based on information from the organizers, tickets for the race day, namely Sunday, March 20, have been sold out.
