JAKARTA - Manchester United (MU) is hunting for a new striker for the summer. In that effort, the Red Devils have narrowed down a candidate to one name, namely Darwin Nunez who is a Benfica player.

MU's decision to recruit Darwin Nunez in the summer has strong reasons. Because at the end of this season Manchester United will part with Edinson Cavani.

To find a replacement for Cavani, the Red Devils have quite strict conditions. They will look for sharp young players in order to become a long-term investment for the club.

At the age of 22 years, MU believes the presence of Nunez at Old Trafford could be the right choice.

Benfica is known to charge Nunez at 50 million euros, or around IDR 812 billion. When compared to other MU transfer targets such as Erling Haaland and Harry Kane, the official price of Nunez can still be reached by MU.
