Pangdam Regarding The TNI Shooting Case 3 Police: Different Types Of Selongsong Up To Three Guns

JAKARTA - The Commander of Kodam (Pangdam) II/Sriwijaya Major General TNI Ujang Darwis said that the results of the crime scene (TKP) case of the death of three police officers because they were shot by TNI members were found with three types of bullet casings.

There are indications of shooting using three different types of firearms (senpi).

"From the time the findings of evidence in the field, for example, there are three types of casings if I'm not mistaken. That means there are three types of weapons at the crime scene," Ujang told reporters at the Lampung Regional Police, Wednesday, March 19.

In addition, based on the statements of the two TNI members, they admitted that they carried weapons and carried out the shooting. In fact, the gun used is a homemade weapon.

"Including the confession of this person, the weapon is assembled," he said.

Even though there has been an acknowledgment, the two TNI members have not been named as suspects. This is because the investigation process is still being carried out by a joint TNI-Polri team to look for evidence and clues.

That way, the process of determining the suspect will be supported by strong evidence and can be scientifically proven.

"That the joint investigation between the Regional Police is ongoing with us removing the team from the Pomdam including the Lampung Denpom and until now it is ongoing," said Ujang.

In addition, the deepening also aims to reveal a series of actual events. Thus, the event framework can be compiled in its entirety

"So that later we can tell what really happened. Then also how can this cause happen," said Ujang.

Previously, Lampung Police Chief Inspector General Helmy Santika stated that the results of the crime scene processing found 13 bullet casings.

The dozens of casings are of different sizes. In detail, eight grains of 5.56 mm caliber; three grains with a caliber of 7.62 mm; and two 9 mm caliber pills.

The bullet casing was found in a clumpy condition at two points.

"From the results of the crime scene, several bullet casings were found that clustered. So there are two places that group other places that are indeed separated," he said.
