Attacking Yemen's Ports And Energy Infrastructure, Israel Pretexts For Use Of Houthis

JAKARTA - The Israeli military said it had carried out attacks targeting port public facilities and energy infrastructure in Yemen.

Israel claims their bombarded targets were used by Houthi militants.

"Conducting targeted attacks on Houthi military targets in Yemen including ports and energy infrastructure in Sanaa, which has been used by the Houthis in a way that effectively contributes to their military action," the Israeli military statement said, quoted by AFP, Thursday, December 19.

This information was delivered shortly on Israel's confession that it had intercepted missiles fired from Yemen.

Houthi's media, Al-Masira reported a series of "aggressive attacks" launched in Yemen's capital, Sanaa, and the port city of Hodeidah.

Al-Masira said the attack targeted two main power plants in the Yemenen capital, Sanaa. Meanwhile in Hodeidah, Israel launched four aggressive attacks targeting ports and two strikes targeting "oil facilities".
