JAKARTA - A large tree fell after being hit by strong winds on Jalan Raya Bogor, RW 07, Susukan Village, Ciracas District, East Jakarta, Thursday afternoon, December 12.

The tree fell and fell on a road sign pole until it collapsed. In addition, the collapse of trees and falling also hit motorbikes and cars.

"Two vehicles were damaged, namely Daihatsu Sigra's car with number B 1157 EZV and Honda Beat Motor with number B 5570 TDK," said Rezi, a firefighter.

Evacuation of handling the fallen tree only finished at around 12.00 WIB. A total of 5 rescue teams and 1 Light Pressure unit were deployed to evacuate.

"The road hints as high as 10 meters with a diameter of 25 cm also collapsed due to fallen trees. The cause is thought to be due to strong winds," he said.

The judge, one of the eyewitnesses to the incident, said that the fall of the large tree occurred when the traffic flow on Jalan Raya Bogor was in normal condition.

"The traffic (traffic) is normal again, many motorists pass by. Suddenly the strong winds that caused the tree to fall and hit the road signs and collapsed," the judge told reporters.

As a result of the collapse of trees and poles, two motorists were injured.

"Motorcycles and cars were hit by poles and trees. Some were injured," he said.

Furthermore, the fallen poles and trees were evacuated to the side of the road. Traffic flow on Jalan Raya Bogor had experienced long traffic jams on two roads up to several kilometers.
