Horror Movie Ticket Vouchers Embezzled By Printing Employees, MD Pictures: Our Company Loses

JAKARTA - MD Pictures production house reported a printing company employee to the Kemayoran Police regarding embezzlement of the latest horror movie ticket voucher entitled 'Sorop' which will be released to hit theaters next week.

However, the film has not yet aired, unscrupulous printing staff on Jalan Kalibaru Timur actually sold the voucher for the horror film ticket on social media accounts illegally. The perpetrators sell for personal gain.

The production house reported the printing staff to the Kemayoran Police.

"The voucher for the film Sorop was embezzled. The voucher for the ticket to watch was traded on social media without our knowledge. So the voucher was issued before we took it out. The mode was sold through social media," said victim Rivki Morais, a representative from the production house, Thursday, December 12, evening.

According to Rivki, the embezzlement of vouchers for Sorop's horror film ticket is detrimental to the company where he works.

"This is very detrimental to MD Pictures. It is unfortunate that embezzlement has occurred that is detrimental to the owner of the Sorop film," he said.

Rivki hopes that this cinema ticket voucher embezzlement incident will be the last, because it has the potential to cause a lot of harm.

"We will continue to monitor the process and continuation related to this report," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Kemayoran Police, Kompol Agung, has not yet provided an official statement regarding the case of embezzlement of vouchers for the horror film ticket.
