North Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Head, Kompol Edy Purwanto explained the chronology of the Satpol PP official car that hit a number of motorcyclists on Jalan Yos Sudarso, precisely at the flyover in front of the Sunter Automotive Exchange, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta, Friday, November 24, at 11.00 WIB.

Kompol Edy Purwanto said the accident began when the Satpol PP official car driven by AH (44) drove from south to north.

Arriving at the crime scene (TKP), AH preceded another vehicle from the right. At that time the Satpol PP official car swerved to the right and left (zig zag), causing it to hit a Yamaha Fino and Honda vario motorcycle that was driving in the same direction in front of his left.

"As a result of the accident, the Yamaha Fino E 3499 QAC motorcyclist with the initials T died at the TKP," said Edy in his statement, Friday, November 24.

Information at the scene of the incident and VOI observations at the scene, the Fino motorcycle rider was known to be an online motorcycle taxi driver (ojol). He fell from the flyover with a height of approximately 15 meters. The victim died at the scene with a serious head injury.

The Satpol PP official car turned out to be carrying 5 other members. And they also fell and were seriously injured.

The 5 passengers of the Satpol PP official vehicle and one driver of ZA's motorbike were injured. And the three vehicles involved were damaged," he continued.

Currently, the victim has been taken to Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (RSCM), Central Jakarta for further action.

The driver of the North Jakarta Satpol PP official car has been secured by the police.

The case is handled by the North Jakarta Metro Police.
