JAKARTA - Head of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) Budi Gunawan spoke about the news of his change from his current position. According to him, he did not know there was such an issue. "Wow, I don't know," Budi told reporters at the State Palace, Jakarta, Wednesday, November 22. Recently, Budi will be replaced from the position of Head of BIN. This news spread after the strained relationship between President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and the PDI-P (PDIP) because it was suspected that there was a difference in the political direction. It is known that Budi is said to have a close relationship with PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri. This issue re-emerged after the Minister of ATR/BPN Hadi Tjahjanto was rumored to be replacing Budi as Head of BIN. It was the former member of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Akbar Faizal, who conveyed the news. He conveyed it via his personal Twitter or X account. "Sisingamaraja headed to Pejaten!" he tweeted via @akbarfaizal68.

The Sisingamaraja that Akbar is referring to is an area in South Jakarta that is so close to Hadi's office. Meanwhile Pejaten is known as the area of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) office.
