General Chairperson Of Apdesi Affirms Events On Village Apparatus In Senayan Are Not Part Of His Organization

Chairman of the Association of Indonesian Village Governments (Apdesi) Arifin Abdul Majid (VOI)

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Association of Village Governments of All Indonesia (Apdesi) Arifin Abdul Majid emphasized that his organization was not political. He also said that the gathering of village heads at the Bung Karno Gelora Complex, Senayan, Jakarta was not part of Apdesi.

The event was also attended by the vice presidential candidate (cawapres) Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

He explained that Apdesi's management with General Chair Arifin Abdul Majid had been registered with the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham). Apdesi's management, explained Arifin, has received a Decree of the Minister of Law and Human Rights, namely AHU-0001295-AH.0108 since 2021.

"We will take legal action if it is on behalf of Apdesi. General Chairperson of Apdesi Arifin Abdul Majid," said Arifin.

Previously, Gibran accompanied by his wife, Selvi Ananda, attended the United Village Gathering which was held by several village officials associations in GBK, Senayan, Jakarta, Sunday, November 19.

The activity was also attended by several figures, namely the Secretary General (Sekjen) of the Gerindra Party Ahmad Muzani, to the former Chairman of PSSI Mochamad Iriawan or Iwan Bule.

There are also ranks of the Prabowo-Gibran National Campaign Team (TKN), namely the TKN Expert Council Budiman Sudjatmiko, the TKN Steering Committee Yusril Ihza Mahendra, the Nusron Wahid TKN Secretary and TKN member Andre Rosiade. Also present were the Chairman of the DPP Association of Indonesian Village Governments (APDESI) Surtawijaya.

United Village Coordinator Muhammad Asri Anas said there are several points that are expected to be accommodated by presidential candidates (candidates) or vice presidential candidates, including village governance reforms, village funds of IDR 5 billion which are affirmative, and evaluation of village assistants.

"These points seem to be Mr. Prabowo (Prabowo Subianto) and Mr. Gibran wants to respond," he said.
