KASN Immediately Follow Up Allegations Of Violations Of The Netrality Of The Head Of The South Kalimantan Education And Culture Who Went Viral Invites To Collos Golkar

The State Civil Apparatus Commission immediately followed up on a report by the General Elections Supervisory Agency regarding the alleged violation of ASN neutrality by the Head of the Education and Culture Office of South Kalimantan Province Muhammadun.

"Today we have submitted a recommendation file for the alleged violation of the neutrality of ASN and KASN as soon as possible," said a member of the South Kalimantan General Elections Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) Thessa Aji Budiono, quoted by ANTARA, Monday, November 20.

Thessa and the South Kalimantan Bawaslu team visited the KASN Office in Jakarta and received an Assistant for Supervision for the Implementation of Basic Values, Code of Ethics, Code of Conduct and Netrality of ASN Lip Ilham Firman when submitting a recommendation file with the Finding Register Number: 002/Reg/TM/PL/Prov/22.00/XI/2023.

Thessa said KASN appreciated the recommendation and in the near future scheduled further examinations of related parties.

KASN also requested that the recommendation file for the alleged violation of ASN neutrality on behalf of Muhammadun be copied to the Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of PANRB, Head of BKN, and Bawaslu.

Based on the results of a study by the South Kalimantan Bawaslu with the Gakkumdu Center, the South Kalimantan Disdikbud Head's case is not categorized as a criminal offense or election administration.

Nevertheless, the South Kalimantan Bawaslu said that sufficient evidence had been fulfilled as another alleged violation of the law, namely the principle of ASN neutrality, both regulated in Law Number 7 of 2017 Article 283 paragraph 2, and Law Number 20 of 2023 concerning ASNjuncto Government Regulation Number 42 of 2004 concerning Corps Mental Development and Civil Servant Code of Ethics, in conjunction with Government Regulation Number 94 of 2021 concerning Civil Servant Discipline.

The Head of the Education and Culture Office of South Kalimantan Muhammadun is in the public spotlight after the viral video containing an invitation to vote for the Golkar Party in the 2024 General Election during an event at a school in Banjarmasin was widely circulated.

The video case of the Kadisdikbud was then followed up by the South Kalimantan Bawaslu and then reported to KASN.
