JAKARTA - Ghisca Debora Aritonang alias GDA (19) used fraudulent money by selling Coldplay concert tickets to buy a number of luxury branded bag and sandals.

"Various luxury branded items (in the form of bags and shoes) have been purchased (GDA suspects) since May or since the GDA received ticket orders," said Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro to reporters, Monday, November 20.

The total goods purchased by the suspect cost Rp600 million.

"A total of approximately 600 million of this evidence, and the remaining nearly 2 billion were used personally by the suspect," he said.

The mode of fraud committed by Ghisca Debora Aritonang to concert ticket resellers is to convince the victims by admitting that they know the intermediary or concert promoter.

"Whereas until May and November there was no communication with the intermediary or ticket and so on," he said.

The Central Jakarta Metro Police is currently still deepening the development of money or goods resulting from crimes committed by the suspect, a resident of Cikupa, Tangerang Regency.

"We also confiscated evidence of the transfer of BCA's account in the name of GDA. We apply Article 378 of the Criminal Code regarding fraud and or 372 concerning the denomination with the threat of punishment for each article is 4 years," he said.
