KSAL Leads Danpushidrosal Certificate And Pangkolinlamil

JAKARTA - Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Navy (KSAL) Admiral Muhammad Ali led the handover ceremony (sertijab) of the Commander of the Indonesian Navy's Hydro-Oceanography Center (Danpushidrosal) and the Commander of the Military Cross-Seaven Command (Pangkolinlamil) at the Kolinlamil Command Headquarters in Tanjung Priok, Jakarta.

Admiral Ali in the ceremony witnessed the handover of the Danpushidrosal position from Vice Admiral TNI Nurhidayat to Rear Admiral TNI Budi Purwanto.

Meanwhile, the position of Pangkolinlamil was handed over from Rear Admiral TNI Edwin to First Admiral TNI Hudiarto Krisno Utomo.

"Pushidrosal and Kolinlamil have gone far and advanced the activities carried out by the Indonesian Navy. For Pushidrosal, he has now become a member of the International Hydrographic Organization (IHO) and is among those seen in the Asia-Pacific and South Asia regions, then for Kolinlamil itself, he has carried out many tasks of shifting troops throughout Indonesia," said Admiral Ali after the ceremony reported by ANTARA, Monday, November 20.

He continued that the Indonesian Navy hopes that new officials can improve performance and score achievements for the advancement of the Indonesian Navy, TNI, national and at the world level.

"For Pushidrosal itself, tasks or those that have not been carried out or homework, I think almost all of them have been collaborated with various countries in the region and in various countries in Europe. The Pushidrosal commander also often participates in international activities," said Kasal.

He said Pushidrosal's main work, namely the mapping of the seabed, continues. The Indonesian Navy also plans to strengthen Pushidrosal's defense equipment, either by adding a new survey ship or working together to mand the survey ship purchased by BRIN.

"Then, for Kolinlamil itself, we will also add to the defense equipment. So year after year, of course, it will continue to be added to defense equipment to strengthen the ranks of the Navy, both Kolinlamil and Pushidrosal," said Admiral Ali.

The replacement of Pushidrosal and Kolinlamil leaders refers to the Decree (SK) of the TNI Commander Number Kep/1286/XI/2023 on November 9, 2023. In the decree, Vice Admiral TNI Nurhidayat returned to the Indonesian Navy Headquarters in order to retire.

Meanwhile, Rear Admiral TNI Edwin is currently officially serving as Assistant for Planning and Budget (Asrena) Kasal replacing Admiral TNI Dr. Iwan Isnurwanto. Laksda Iwan also returned as a high-ranking officer at the Indonesian Navy Headquarters in order to retire.
