The Head of the National Police's Security Maintenance Agency (Kabaharkam), Komjen Fadil Imran, claims that so far there is no fact that can prove that a member of the police has helped install billboards for certain presidential and vice presidential candidates (candidates and vice presidential candidates). According to him, the public must be able to distinguish between facts, assumptions, and rumors. Because, it is undeniable that such things will occur during the 2024 General Election (Pemilu). "Until today, no facts have been found that the police have installed billboards," said Fadil after a working meeting with Commission III of the DPR, Wednesday, November 15. However, if the facts of a violation are found, then the police officers who commit it will be dealt with according to the rules. The Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) and the Honorary Council for Election Implementation (DKPP) will handle violations that occur. In fact, members of the police involved in the violation will be processed internally. Propam and Itwasum will take action against it. "We are open and the National Police Chief has conveyed his commitment to act according to the SOP and if there are members who violate the SOP, there will definitely be sanctions, whether the code of ethics, disciplinary sanctions to criminal sanctions," said Fadil.
