Densus 88 Searches Terrorism Perpetrators In Palu, Police Seize Sharp Weapons

PALU - Special Datasemen 88 (Densus 88) Anti-terror personnel from the National Police conducted a search of the house of suspected terrorist with the initials AR in Talise Valabgguni Village, Manticulture District, Palu City, Central Sulawesi on Tuesday at around 06.00 WITA. "We were approached to accompany the Central Sulawesi Police officers with the aim of conducting a search," explained the head of RW 03 Valangguni Burhan, quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, November 14.

He said that from the search, officers secured a number of evidences in the form of cell phones, components of data storage devices, several reading books, a sharp weapon and an account book.

"We see that no firearms have been seized, only sharp weapons in the form of machetes," he said.

Burhan explained that during the search, no residents were arrested by the police.

Based on information he received, that the owner of the house, namely AR, had been secured before a search was carried out.

"It's just a search, we received information that AR has been secured first," he said.

Until now, there has been no official statement from the police regarding the search conducted by Densus 88.
