JAKARTA - Director of Lokataru Haris Azhar was sentenced to four years in prison in the alleged defamation case of the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment (Menko Marves) Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan. This was revealed by the Public Prosecutor (JPU) Shandy Handika when reading the indictment in the trial at the East Jakarta District Court, Cakung, Monday, November 13. The prosecutor assessed that Haris had been legally and convincingly proven according to the law guilty of defamation as regulated in Article 27 paragraph 3 in conjunction with Article 45 paragraph 3 of the ITE Law in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 to 1 of the Criminal Code as in the first indictment. "Punishing Haris Azhar to serve a sentence of four years with the defendant's order to be immediately detained," he said, confiscated by Antara. Haris and Fatia's statement in a video uploaded via Haris' YouTube account has defamed Luhut. The video is entitled "There is an evil Luhut behind Intan Jaya's economic-ops military relations!!
