JAKARTA - Jakarta's weather today, Friday, November 10, is generally predicted to be shrouded in rain throughout the day. Rain is predicted to only occur in South Jakarta and East Jakarta at night.

In the morning, the weather for five areas in the capital city will be cloudy. West Jakarta, South Jakarta and East Jakarta will be sunny. Meanwhile, Central Jakarta, North Jakarta, and the Thousand Islands are cloudy.

In the afternoon, the entire Jakarta area will be cloudy.

Then at night there is a slight change. South Jakarta and East Jakarta are predicted to rain. Meanwhile, West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, North Jakarta and the Thousand Islands with thick cloudy conditions.

The air temperature in Jakarta today is estimated to be in the range of 25 to 33 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, the humidity is estimated to be in the range of 65-90%.

Head of BMKG Dwikorita Karnawati has conveyed an appeal to residents to be aware of the possibility of extreme weather conditions during the transition of the dry season to the rainy season.

"Extreme weather has great potential to occur during the transitional season, starting from heavy rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds and hail," he said.

He said that in general during the transition period, the weather was usually sunny in the morning, the clouds began to grow during the day, and it rained in the late afternoon or evening.

According to him, cumulonimbus clouds that look like gray cauliflowers with clear edgelines usually grow in the morning before noon. Towards the afternoon, the color of these clouds will turn dark and then rain, lightning, and wind can occur.
