Chat With Purwodadi Middle School Students Apply For Work To South Korea, Ganjar Is Amazed By Language Skills

JAKARTA - The 2024 presidential candidate Ganjar Pranowo met with a junior high school student from Purwodadi, Central Java, Samsul Hadi, who applied for a job to South Korea in Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta.

"Even though high school/vocational school is free, what year do you graduate?" said Ganjar when the Indonesian Migrant Workers Protection Agency (BP2MI) held a briefing event for 1,500 participants of Indonesian Migrant Workers Candidates (CPMI) in Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta, Thursday, November 9, which was confiscated by Antara.

Samsul said he graduated from junior high school in 2014 but due to family economic constraints, he ended up having to drop out of school.

According to Ganjar, his party only started to free the cost of high school education in Central Java in 2014

The Governor of Central Java in 2013-2023 then continued communication with Samsul.

The laughter of the audience broke out because the dialogues of Ganjar and Samsul were as they were.

When Ganjar asked how Samsul would work abroad with a junior high school diploma.

Samsul briefly replied, "Alhamdulillah (as if he was lucky)."

Even though Samsul had to pass the test held in Semarang, namely the test answered 10 questions of listening (listening) and 10 questions of reading (reading).

"Pak Benny (Benny Rhamdani-Head of BP2MI) must be responsible, the question is what to answer, thank God," said Ganjar.

Ganjar also saluted Samsul's South Korean quality. Samsul admitted that to learn foreign languages, it took him eight months.

Samsul was tested and could have daily conversations in South Korean when Ganjar asked her to talk to one of the female CPMIs in front of the attending audience.

Not only that, Samsul apparently has experience working in the construction of toll roads in Central Java even though he is only an iron maker who is paid Rp. 100,000 per day.

Now, Samsul is enjoying the fruit of his struggle because he is accepted to work in a manufacturing company in Yongsan district, Seoul, South Korea with a salary of 2,000,000 Won or around Rp. 24 million per month.
