Charta Politica Survey: If Head To Head, Prabowo Subianto Wins From Ganjar

JAKARTA - The results of the Charta Politica survey on October 26-31, 2023 showed that Ganjar Pranowo's electability was 36.9 percent and was superior to two other presidential candidates (readpres) if the presidential election (pilpres) was held during the survey. Meanwhile, Anies Baswedan's electability was 24.3 percent and Prabowo Subianto's electability was 35.3 percent. "The trend is that there is a tendency that competition is very tight between Prabowo and Ganjar. Both are in an electoral balanced situation between these two names," said Executive Director of Charta Politica Yunarto Wijaya in Jakarta, as reported by Antara, Monday, November 6. In the head-to-head simulation, Ganjar's electability was 45.6 percent higher than Anies' 34.8 percent electability. However, Ganjar's electability is lower or only 40.8 percent if the head to head with Prabowo Subianto has an electability of 44.4 percent. Meanwhile, in the simulation of Prabowo head to head with Anies, Prabowo's electability reached 50.1 percent or much higher than Anies which was 29.5 percent. "Anies and Prabowo have a distance of 21 percent. Indeed, it was very visible when Prabowo ran against Anies, Ganjar's voters tended to be Prabowo voters," he said. In terms of the prospective vice presidential candidate (readwapres), the highest electability is Mahfud Md. amounting to 34.8, followed by Gibran Rakabuming Raka at 32 percent, and Muhaimin Iskandar at 20.9 percent. Meanwhile, if paired, the Ganjar-Mahfud pair is ahead of the presidential/other vice presidential candidate pair with an electability of 36.8 percent. The Prabowo-Gibran pair was 34.7 percent and Anies-Muhaimin was 24.3 percent. In the simulation of two names, Ganjar-Mahfud's electability was 45.5 percent higher than Anies-Imin which was 34.4 percent.

When dealing with Prabowo-Gibran, Ganjar-Mahfud's electability of 40.6 percent is lower than Prabowo-Gibran's 43.5 percent electability. Prabowo-Gibran's electability of 50.3 percent also outperformed Anies-Imin with 29 percent electability in the pair's head-to-head simulation.
