CILACAP - Cilacap Police Satreskrim arrested a young mother who had the heart to dispose of the baby's body in the Gandrungmangu area, Cilacap Regency. The Head of Cilacap Police, Kombes Pol Fannky Ani Sugiharto explained that the baby found was the result of an illicit relationship with a man.

Unfortunately, the innocent baby became a victim of tragic actions by his own mother.

Based on a written statement received on Monday, November 6, the perpetrator was identified with the initials TS (31) a woman from Bulusari Village, Gandrunangu District, Cilacap Regency. TS is said to have killed the baby by covering her face, her nose was pressed until she finally died.

For his actions, TS was charged with Article 80 of Law number 35 of 2014 concerning amendments to Law number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection and Article 341 of the Criminal Code (KUHP) on Murder.

TS (31) faces up to 7 years in prison.
