Alex Tirta: Firli Bahuri Rents A House In Kertanegara Because It Is Close To The Office

JAKARTA - The Daily Chairperson of the Provincial Management (PP) of PBSIDKI Jakarta Tirta Juwana Darmadji (Alex Tirta) revealed that KPK Chairman Firli Bahuri rented a house on Jalan Kertanegara Number 46, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, because it was near the office.

"He may be because his house is far away, so maybe a bed, close to his office. So when he is in need, the place is suitable. I think that's right," he said after being examined as a witness at Polda Metro Jaya, reported by ANTARA, Friday, November 3.

Alex also claimed to have known Firli Bahuri for a long time but he did not specify when.

"I've known him for a long time. So indeed my friend and especially him like badminton, I also like badminton," he said.

Alex Tirta was questioned for 12 hours at Polda Metro Jaya. He was examined as a witness in the alleged extortion case by the KPK leadership against former Agriculture Minister Syahrul Yasin Limpo (SYL).

"Today's examination has been completed and I have conveyed everything to the investigators, so everything has been done," said Alex.

When asked about the number of questions asked by investigators, Alex admitted that he had forgotten.

"Maybe a dozen. I don't remember, there are also many, around 19 (questions)," he said.

Alex, who was questioned since 09.28 WIB, explained the problem of the house on Jalan Kertanegara Number 46, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta. He explained that the house was rented in his name.

"That I did rent the Kertanegara house and it was forwarded by him. But it was in my name. So I explained it to the investigators. So that's all right," he said.
