PDIP Politician Masinton Sindir Keras Jokowi, Talks About Political Warming Up Inevitably

PDI-P politician Masinton Pasaribu responded to President Jokowi's statement regarding orders for neutral state officials in the 2024 General Election. Masinton said the word "top" if Jokowi's order was actually carried out.

"Top (confusing two thumbs up) if the implementation downwards is carried out to the top if then there is no interference with power, we appreciate it. We see the viral vice minister directing support, this fact shows that there has been a preliminary heating of neutrality," Masinton said in the Kompas TV Two-way program, Friday, November 3.

Masinton emphasized that elections are not a 5-year ritual but part of democracy giving birth to leadership that has legitimacy.

"The election is honest, fair and reliable so that the election results can be trusted by the public and the legitimacy of the leadership results of the election is recognized by the public. Regarding neutrality, we want one word leaders and actions, but yesterday only a few days there was an incident in Bali where the attributes of the Ganjar-Mahfud billboards became a pdip attribute when the president came down, other party attributes were safe," Masinton quipped.

Jokowi previously reminded local governments and state apparatus to be neutral regarding the 2024 election. Regarding the removal of Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD billboards during a working visit to Bali, Jokowi reminded that all actions should be communicated with related political parties.

"The transfer of several party attributes should be the district, city, provincial governments asking for permission from regional party officials," said Jokowi
