Hasto Denies Truf Card Statements To Presidential Issues For 3 Periods For Jokowi's Slander

Secretary General of the PDI-P (PDIP) Hasto Kristiyanto emphasized that he is ready to account for his statement regarding party leaders whose truf cards are held by the authorities until there is a request for an additional presidential term.

This was conveyed in response to a statement by the Secretary General of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) Raja Juli Antoni who said that the issue of a truf card and an extension of his term of office was a slanderous move to attack President Joko Widodo (Jokowi). Hasto said, he would give an answer if needed.

"Please I will give an answer, this is democracy. Democracy has checks and balances," he told reporters at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK), Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday, October 2.

Hasto explained that the truth will also be revealed in the momentum of voting, namely February 14. "It's just who holds the truth," he said.

Hasto also believes that the public can clearly see the current political conditions. Moreover, the pair of presidential and vice presidential candidates Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD moved not on the basis of power.

"And we believe the truth will win. Indonesia is a great nation so we are looking for a good leader, a leader who does not have an inhumane track record, a leader who glorifys humanity, people, and takes sides for the poor so that justice," he said.

"It's as a pillar to accelerate Indonesia's superior and advanced Indonesia," continued Hasto.

King Juli Antoni felt that President Jokowi had recently been slandered for statements by the political elite who said there was a request for an extension of his term of office to pressure a number of general chairmen. He even called this act a continuous slanderous move.

"In the past, Pak Jokowi was slandered by the PKI, now he is slandered for mobilizing the president's support for 3 terms. In the past, Pak Jokowi was slandered by his fake diploma while being slandered by controlling the head of the political party for holding their truf card. In the past, anti-Islam was slandered as having a toxic relationship with his relatives," said Toni in his written statement.

He then advised themen to stop spreading hatred against President Jokowi. Because apart from being in vain, this is normal and makes him even more sympathetic.

"Tell the listeners. Tell me from history. Defaming Pak Jokowi is a wasteful, useless job," said Antoni.
