Bareskrim Suspects Three People Help Dito Mahendra During His Buron

The Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police has begun investigating the existence of parties who helped Dito Mahendra hide when he was a fugitive in the alleged illegal possession of firearms (senpi). From a temporary investigation, it is suspected that three people were involved.

"There are several people who we suspect are helping the DM (Dito Mahendra) escape. There are about 3 people who are currently still in the process of developing investigations and investigations," said Director of General Crimes at Bareskrim Polri Brigadier General Djuhandhani Rahardjo Puro to reporters, Monday, October 30.

Temporary results, a number of clues have been obtained, such as the flow of funds and the vehicle used by Dito Mahendra.

However, the investigation process is still being carried out with the aim of obtaining evidence and other clues for allegedly helping fugitives escape.

"We have received several clues regarding the escape of DM's brother, both covering the vehicle used, the flow of funds we have received is currently gathering evidence and to anyone," he said.

So far, Djuhandani is reluctant to convey the alleged parties who helped Dito Mahendra. However, it is said that of the three people suspected, some of them have close ties to Dito Mahendra.

"Some were yesterday during the investigation, we found out that there were relationships and so on, some were outside of that," said Djuhandani.

Dito Mahendra was a fugitive before being arrested in Bali on September 8. Dito is a suspect in the alleged possession of 9 illegal rifles.

Meanwhile, the alleged illegal senpi belonging to Dito Mahendra included the Golock 17, Revolver S&W, the Clock 19 Zev pistol, and the Angstadt Arms pistol.

Then the Noveske Rifleworks, AK 101, the Heckler & Koch G 36 rifle, the Heckler & Koch MP 5 pistol, and the Walther air rifle.

In this case, Dito Mahendra was charged with Article 1 paragraph (1) of Law Number 12 of 1951. Thus, it is threatened with life imprisonment or 20 years.
