West Jakarta Immigration Denies Death Toll Falling From Metro Garden Apartments Is Not An Employee

Public Relations of the West Jakarta Immigration Office denied that Tri Fattah Firdaus (23), the man who died, fell from the 19th floor of the Metro Garden Apartment, Ciledug area, Tangerang, was an employee at the agency.

"It's not (immigration personnel). The victim is not an employee of West Jakarta Immigration," said West Jakarta Immigration Office Public Relations Officer, Esti when confirmed by VOI, Friday, October 27.

According to information circulating, victim Tri Fattah Firdaus works as an Immigration officer in West Jakarta. The victim was in the unit with a South Korean citizen.

"The information (victim) is a Rudenim officer (immigration detention house). The Rudenim is indeed within the scope of Kalideres, entering West Jakarta, but (victims) are not West Jakarta immigration officers," he said.

As is known, a foreigner from South Korea with the initials KH was arrested by the Polda Metro Jaya regarding the death of Tri Fattah who fell from the apartment in the Tangerang area. The incident occurred on Friday, October 27, in the early hours of the morning at around 03.00 WIB.

Meanwhile, KH, a South Korean citizen, suspected of being the perpetrator, was arrested by the police on Friday morning at around 08.00 WIB. The perpetrator also fought back when he was arrested.
