Stomach Pain, ART In South Jakarta Ends Life With Scout Rope In Room

JAKARTA - A household assistant (ART), RM (24) was found dead in his room with a rope in the Tebet area, South Jakarta. It is suspected that the victim ended his life due to chronic disease.

Tebet Police Chief, Kompol Jamalinus confirmed the incident. The incident occurred on Monday, October 23, at 04.00 WIB.

"Yes, that's right, mas. According to the employer's statement, the previous ART complained of stomach pain," said Jamalinus when confirmed, Wednesday, October 25.

The incident was discovered by her employer, when the victim was called but did not respond to the call.

Furthermore, when the employer checked and opened the door to ART's room, it turned out that the victim had died by hanging himself.

"And when the door opens, the ART is tied in the neck (suspended) in the room with a scout strap attached to the wall nails in his room," he said.

Then the employer reported the incident to one of her family members to be reported to the head of the local RT.
