Hashim Djojohadikusumo: Prabowo-Gibran Combination That Top Pasti Win

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of the Gerindra Party Board of Trustees, Hashim Djojohadikusumo, assessed that the decision of the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM) to elect Solo Mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka as vice presidential candidate was very appropriate.

"I think the cooperation decision between Prabowo and Gibran, the presidential and vice presidential candidates, I think is an extraordinary positive decision," said Hashim at The Darmawangsa, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, Monday, October 23.

According to him, Prabowo-Gibran is a complementary partner. Prabowo as an experienced figure, Gibran as a young person who has fresh thoughts.

"This generation is more experienced, older in collaboration with the new generation with innovation and new thoughts and so on. I think this is an extraordinary combination of the top," he said.

Prabowo Subianto's younger brother is also optimistic that the Prabowo-Gibran pair will win the 2024 presidential election contestation.

"It will definitely win," he said.

Regarding the head of the winning team, Hashim was reluctant to reveal. However, he agreed that Deputy Minister of SOEs Rosan Roeslani and Minister of Investment Bahlil Lahadalia were candidates.

"Yes, those names," he added.
