JAKARTA - North Korean leader Kim Jong-un called for a "forward-minded" relationship with Russia.

Kim made the statement during a meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov who was visiting Pyongyang for two days, according to the Korean Central News Agency, KCNA.

Kim expressed the determination of the heart' of the Workers' Party of Korea and the government to come up with a stable, future-minded, and broad-capacity plan for bilateral relations with Russia in the new era.
