CILACAP - Head of the Cilacap Search and Rescue Office (KPP/Basarnas) Adah Sudarsa said as many as nine crew members (ABK) had an accident due to a complete ship called "Tri Laksana" overturned at Wagir Indah Beach, Welahan Village, Cilacap Regency, Central Java.

"Based on the information we received, the accident occurred this morning, at around 07.30 WIB," he said, quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, October 18.

The incident occurred when nine crew members of the equipped ship "Tri Laksana" were fishing around Wagir Indah Beach, Weahan Village, Adipala District, Cilacap.

According to him, the ship was allegedly not strong enough to pull the net, so it lost balance and capsized until it was finally carried away by the current to the shore.

"A total of six crew members survived the accident, one person died, and two people are still being searched," he said.

The six surviving crew members consisted of Farid (31), Arjun (22), Tusmin (60), and Dul Rohim (55) from Brebes Regency, as well as Roni (32) and Musa (65) who came from Cilacap.

The crew who died were known as Slamet (62) who came from Brebes. Meanwhile, the two crew members who are still being searched consist of Edi Suwaryo (55) and Alfin Rastoni B Darmo (60) who are registered as residents of Brebes.

"We have dispatched a rescue team to the scene to search for 2 crew members, complete with Search and Rescue (SAR) equipment in the water," said Adah.
