Case Of Being Imam Of The Dzuhur Prayer, Middle-aged Man Hit By An Iron Pipe When Wudhu At The Mosque

JAKARTA - Two worshipers of the mosque were involved in an argument against each other because of the problem of becoming imams of the midday prayer. The argument within the mosque led to persecution. The victim with the initials M was beaten by the perpetrator, AA, who is currently being sought by the police.

Victim M suffered injuries to his left hand because he was hit by an iron pipe by the perpetrator AA. Even worse, the act of persecution occurred when victim M was ablution at the Jami An-Nur Mosque, RT 07/04, Cakung Timur Village, Cakung District, East Jakarta.

Based on information from Rifqi Arsilan (39), one of the victims' families confirmed that the abuse occurred when M was about to pray.

M suffered a wound on his left hand until it swelled. In addition, M's hand also bleeding after being hit by an iron pipe by perpetrator AA.

"After defecating (BAB) and wanting to continue praying because previously it was canceled, the victim took ablution, then he was beaten," he told reporters, Wednesday, October 18.

But M had deflected an iron pipe that was previously directed at M's head, with his left hand.

"Then he was hit, he hit three times," he said.

After being hit, victim M tried to save himself by running towards the 2nd floor of the mosque to ask for help from other mosque worshipers.

Meanwhile, victim M has reported the incident to the Cakung Police Headquarters. The victim made a report with his family.

In addition to making a police report, victim M has also made a post-mortem for his injuries.

"Hopefully the police can quickly handle the case. We are furious at the perpetrator's actions," he said.

Currently, the case is being handled by the Cakung Police Headquarters for further processing.
