South Jakarta District Court Appoints Judge Alimin To Lead SYL Pretrial Session

JAKARTA The South Jakarta State Court (PN) appointed Alimin Ribut Sujono as the sole judge to examine and hear the pretrial lawsuit of former Minister of Agriculture (Mentan) Syahrul Yasin Limpo (SYL) with the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).

"The sole judge who will examine the case is Alimin Ribut Sujono," said South Jakarta District Court Public Relations Officer, Djuyamto, as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, October 12.

Djuyamto said the pretrial submission for Syahrul Yasin Limpo was on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 and the trial will be held on Monday, October 30, 2023.

"Syahrul Yasin Limpo's pretrial trial will be held on October 30, 2023," he said.

The lawsuit is a response to the determination of Syahrul Yasin Limpo as a KPK suspect in connection with the alleged corruption case at the Ministry of Agriculture (Kementan).

The figure of Alimin Ribut Sunjonk is a judge who was once chairman of the panel of judges in a case of severe persecution with the defendant Mario Dandy Satriyo.

In that case, the panel of judges led by Alimin Ribut sentenced the son of former Tax Officer Rafael Alun Trisambodo to 12 years in prison.

Then, Alimin Ribut was also known to be the panel of judges who sentenced the former Head of the Professional and Security Division (Kadiv Propam) of the National Police Ferdy Sambo.

He and Wahyu Iman Santoso, and Morgan Simanjuntak were the assembly that tried the premeditated murder case against Nofriansyah Yosua Hutabarat or Brigadier J.

Alimin Ribut Sujono was born on November 29, 1967, so he is now 55 years old.
