DKI DPRD Receives Letter Of Dismissal Of Mega Love From PDIP

Acting Secretary of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Augustinus, said that his party had received a letter of dismissal from Cinta Mega from the position of a member of the DKI Jakarta DPRD from the PDIP Central Leadership Council (DPP).

PDIP proposed the interim replacement (PAW) of Cinta Mega after officially dismissing her as a party cadre. Mega's love was dismissed from PDIP due to being caught playing a slot gambling game during a plenary meeting of the DKI Jakarta DPRD.

"The letter for the dismissal of Mrs. Cinta Mega from the DPP and DPD (PDIP) has been entered as of October 9, 2023," Augustinus told reporters, Tuesday, October 10.

After receiving a letter of dismissal from Cinta Mega from the PDIP DPP, the Chairperson of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Prasetyo Edi Marsudi, will forward it to the DKI Jakarta General Election Commission (KPU) to determine the candidate for the DKI DPRD for the 2019-2014 period, which will replace Cinta Mega as a member of the DKI Jakarta DPRD from the PDIP faction.

"We are waiting for the position of the Chairman of the DPRD to be forwarded to the KPUD. So who is the serial number under Mrs. Cinta which will be proposed from the KPUD for us to process it with the Governor and process it to the Ministry of Home Affairs to determine the Decree of the Minister of Home Affairs on Mrs. Cinta Mega's PAW," explained Augustinus.

Augustinus estimates that the administration process for PAW Cinta Mega from the position of a member of the DKI DPRD until the inauguration of his replacement council members takes about a month.

Until now until PAW is officially carried out, Cinta Mega is still serving as a member of the DKI Jakarta DPRD from the PDIP faction. Today, Cinta Mega is also still attending a meeting to discuss the draft APBD for the 2024 fiscal year.

"Right, in the SK, the faction still has a name until PAW is carried out. The rights and authorities are still there until the Minister of Home Affairs Decree is down," he explained.

Cinta Mega was fired from PDIP on Monday, August 14 for playing a slot gambling game in a plenary meeting. Shortly after being fired, Cinta Mega has now joined as a cadre of the National Mandate Party (PAN) and became a legislator of the DKI DPRD in the 2024 Pilleg from her new party.

Separately, a member of the DKI Jakarta Provincial KPUD, Dody Wijaya, confirmed that PAN registered Cinta Mega as a candidate for member of the DKI Jakarta DPRD in the 2024 Legislative Election. Cinta Mega was registered on the last day of the funeral period for the list of permanent candidates (DCT) for legislative members on October 3.

"The final stage of the nomination is DCT's burial. From September 24 to October 3 yesterday. Finally, the party PAN registered the person concerned. It is still possible, the party proposes a new candidate," said Dody.

Dody said that the Cinta Mega registration file had been received and would be verified along with other legs, followed by the preparation of DCT if the administrative requirements were complete.

Regarding the track record of Cinta Mega who was fired by PDIP due to being caught playing slot gambling during a plenary meeting, Dody handed over the feasibility of Cinta Mega to run again in the legislative election to his party.

"This nomination is entirely in political parties. So if there is a complaint or public response, we will forward it to the political parties. Whether the party will review the reconsideration, we will completely submit it to the political parties," he explained.
