JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) suspects that former Yogyakarta Customs Chief Eko Darmanto received gratuities through certain accounts. This allegation was investigated by three witnesses.

Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri said the three people who were questioned on Thursday, October 5, namely Rudi Hartono, M. Yusuf Barusman, and Rony Faslah who were private parties. All three were examined regarding the alleged receipt of gratuities by Eko.

"The three witnesses were present and their knowledge was investigated, among others, related to the alleged receipt of gratuities by the party designated as a suspect in this case with the pattern of handing over money through bank account transfers," Ali told reporters in a written statement, Friday, October 6.
