JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) confiscated an Audi-branded sedan after searching two houses of the Minister of Agriculture Syahrul Yasin Limpo (SYL) on Jalan Pelita Raya and Jalan Bumi 13 Perum BPH, Makassar. The search was carried out on Wednesday, October 4 yesterday. Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri said the search was carried out to look for evidence of alleged corruption in the ministry led by Syahrul. Apart from cars, investigators obtained other evidence in the form of documents. From the location, the evidence was found and secured among others in the form of a Audi A6 car unit and a number of documents,'' Ali told reporters, Thursday, October 5. Previously reported, the KPK has raised the status of investigation into the alleged corruption in the Ministry of Agriculture. There are already suspects who have been named but have not been detailed to anyone. Most recently, investigators also visited Hatta's house in Jagakarsa, South Jakarta. From the forced effort, Rp400 million was found.
