Sahroni Affirms Syahrul Yasin Limpo Doesn't Disappear, Prostate Relapses And Stress Search Becomes The Cause

General treasurer of the NasDem Party Ahmad Sahroni said that the Minister of Agriculture (Mentan) Syahril Yasin Limpo did not disappear in Europe.

SYL's prostate disease recurred due to stress hearing the news of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) searching his official residence.

"After the search, maybe he got the information and finally yes, we understand the stress of the river, the prostate recurrence," Sahroni told reporters, Wednesday, October 4.

For that reason, Yasin Limpo postponed his return. His illness was strongly suspected as the reason the Minister of Agriculture seemed to have lost news.

"Well, maybe he's seeking treatment for further examination to cure his prostate," he said.

"If a prostate person is difficult, sorry, he can't move like that. So it's not because he lost or avoided returning to the country, no," continued Sahroni.

Sahroni also admitted that he was surprised by the news of Yasin Limpo's return to Indonesia, today. This is because the initial information he received was that the NasDem cadre would arrive in Jakarta, October 5.

"I'm also surprised, because what I know should be tomorrow," said Sahroni.

As previously reported, Syahrul Yasin Limpo was said to have disappeared during a working visit to Europe. The news circulated amid the issue that he was named a corruption suspect by the KPK.

Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Harvick Hasnul Qolbi, stated that he had not received any news from the Minister of Agriculture and had not yet made contact until now.

"From Spain, the latest information we received was indeed coincided with several of our echelon officials. Echelon I there were 3 people who participated, there was also Echelon II who participated in the minister's working visit, and there were several staff. Returning to their homeland is indeed each because maybe tickets are also limited. Finally separated," said Harvick.

He said he had the latest communication with SYL before the Minister of Agriculture made a working visit to Spain and also Rome.

Harvick also stated that the relevant agencies had searched for the whereabouts of the NasDem politician. "We don't know yet that this is the final position," he explained.
