JAKARTA - Chairman of the PDI-P (PDIP) DPP Djarot Saiful Hidayat spoke about the issue of his cadre, Gibran Rakabuming Raka will become a vice presidential candidate (cawapres) Prabowo Subianto. Instead, he questioned the issue.

"(If Gibran becomes Prabowo's vice presidential candidate, ed) who will make him? Who borrowed it?" Djarot told reporters at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta, quoted Monday, October 2.

Djarot said that this kind of business should be answered directly to Gibran or those who have this desire. "Ask those who propose, ask those who are proposed whether or not," he said.

Furthermore, Djarot said PDIP submitted the decision regarding the presidential election (pilpres) to its general chairman, Megawati Soekarnoputri. Including the question of who the vice presidential candidate will accompany the presidential candidate (candidate) Ganjar Pranowo.

"PDIP once again the principle is to fully hand over the vice presidential candidate to the general chairman, yes, to Mrs. Mega and then have a dialogue with the party chairmen, have a dialogue with Mr. Jokowi, have a dialogue with grassroots, and have a dialogue with God Almighty," he said.

"Because this is the choice with the eyes as well, yes, for the benefit of the nation and state," continued Djarot.

As previously reported, Deputy Chairman of the Gerindra Party Board of Trustees, Hashim Djojohadikusumo, said that he would be the ideal vice presidential candidate if he was paired with presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto. Although, he is considered lack of experience.

"Yes, it's the one who proposes to have certain considerations. Only those who are proposed whether they want it or not. That's all. Just supposing this," said Puan during the PDIP National Working Meeting at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta, Saturday, September 30.

Gibran as a young person, continued Puan, is indeed one of the candidates to be considered as a vice presidential candidate. Moreover, he has achievements as a regional head.
