Victims Died In Warteg Fire In Gambir Still Family Association

JAKARTA - From the results of the crime scene conducted by the Central Jakarta Metro Police, a fire victim named Karyati (38) was found burned to death downstairs. Karyati was found dead in a pathetic manner, precisely on the table where the victim used to serve food stall visitors on a daily basis.

Meanwhile, the victim named Puput (22) was found dead in the 2nd floor of the shophouse while fast asleep.

"The victim KR is the wife of Slamet. Meanwhile, P is the younger brother of Slamet. KR and P died on the spot. Meanwhile, Slamet (40) suffered burns and was treated at Tarakan Hospital," said Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Komarudin to reporters, Thursday, September 28.

Meanwhile, other victims suffered burns named Rafa (7) and Darkian (49).

"The five victims are still related to their families," he said.

In the fire incident that took place quickly, Rafa (7), the victim's child from Karyati, also suffered burns.

Previously, it was reported that two residents were reportedly burned to death due to a fire that hit two food stall shophouses selling food and photocopies on Jalan Setia Kawan, RT 02/07, Duri Pulo Village, Gambir District, Central Jakarta. The incident occurred on Thursday, September 28, at noon, at around 13.00 WIB.
